How to create your own blog

It is easy to create your own blog. Log into the USPX website. From the menu at the top of your browser window, select:

My Blogs > Create a Blog!

The page that opens will ask you to specify a domain name and title for your blog. Domain names for member blogs have the form:

http://______.proxyexchange.org

You can specify any string of characters to fill in the blank, as long as it is not already in use by another member blog. Characters can only be letters, numbers or hyphens (-). You may use capital letters, but it is generally best to not do so. Please limit your string to no more than 40 characters. You probably want your string to conform somewhat to the title for your blog, but that is not technically necessary.

Let’s consider an example. Suppose you want the title for your blog to be “Shareowner Advocate”. Then you might select as your domain name:

http://shareowner-advocate.proxyexchange.org

or, if you would like something shorter, you could make it:

http://advocate.proxyexchange.org

Pick your domain name carefully. Once it is selected for your blog, it cannot be changed. The blog’s title is not fixed. You can change that any time.

Enter your selections into the form where indicated. Then click the “Create Blog” button at the bottom of the form. This will create your blog. The page that displays will give you instructions to start using the blog.
